Bookmobile - Headstart Carnival The Headstart Carnival @ EOP (650 Baldwin Street, Elmira, NY) will be on May 19th, 2012 from 10-1. The Bookmobile will be doing a craft, stickers, tattoos, coloring sheets and a game. Genealogy Workshop for Beginners There will be a Beginning Genealogy Workshop at the Steele Memorial Library on Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 1:30 - 3:30 pm. Genealogy is the third most popular U. S. hobby today and the second most searched topic online. We will show you how to begin researching your family and introduce you to material available at our library, including databases, recommended websites, microfilm including the NYS Vital Statistics Index, and where to find books you may take home on the subject. Doggy Tales is a program for beginning and reluctant readers! Pick out your favorite book and read to the library dog for fifteen minutes! This program is intended for children ages 5 - 11. An adult caregiver must accompany the reader.
