Well-Dressed Book

This month we have two art workshops led by local professional artist Wynn Yarrow. The first is The Well-Dressed Book on November 14th at 6:30pm.

If the sky were the limit, what clothing would you wear? Whether opulent, ruffled, layered, colorful, reminiscent or ridiculous, your dream garb will become visible as you fashion a small well-dressed book complete with clothes hanger.

Candle HolderThe second workshop, Winter by Candlelight, Clay Candle Holders, will take place on November 28th at 6:30pm. Winter's short days are the perfect time for candlelight. Festoon your candle with a handmade holder made of air dried clay using the coil technique.

Both workshops are open to adults and teens and are free (all materials provided). Registration is required: (607)733-9175

These activities are made possible in part by the QuickARTS grant program administered by The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes and funded by the Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning and the Finger Lakes, Inc.
