**Due to the current COVID-19 orange zone in Chemung County, all CCLD libraries have returned to curbside-only service. Please call your local library to make arrangements to pick up your materials. We will remain curbside-only until we are downgraded to a yellow zone. Visit our website for more information about curbside pickup.
Starting December 1st, Steele Memorial Library will be using the front entrance, closest to the book drop, for curbside pickup. When you arrive for your appointment, pull into one of the two spots designated for curbside pickup.
Holiday Closings
December 24 - All libraries will be open 9am-1pm.
December 25 - All libraries will be closed.
December 31 - All libraries will be open 9am-1pm.
January 1 - All libraries will be closed.
CCLD Makerspace
CCLD Makerspace continues to offer face shields to individuals, families, and businesses in Chemung County. Face shields may be purchased for $2.00 each. There is no cost for local healthcare and emergency response workers. Visit our website for more information: ccldmakerspace.org.
Requests for 3D printing may be submitted online. All requests will be processed in the order that they are received. To request a 3D print, please fill out the following form: ccldmakerspace.org/3d-printing-request.
Activities for Kids
Call the Big Flats Library, sign up for the Maker Club, and set up an appointment time to pick up your Maker Club Kit to "Take & Make" at home! This month…Goldfish Ball Ornament! Please call 562-3300, supplies limited, must call to register!
Join Steele Library staff Ms. Amanda, Mr. Jeff, and Miss Britt as they tell winter holiday tales by the fireside, on Thursday, December 17th at 4pm. This program will be live streamed on the CCLD Facebook page.

On December 7th at 3:30pm, play "Among Us" on Zoom with your friends and the teen services crew! Email Librarian Doris Jean for the meeting code and password: metzgerd@stls.org. Or call Steele library's teen space: 607-737-5080. Teens who register will get entered into a drawing for "Among Us" stickers, etc.
