Welcome to the Chemung County Library District

March 2021 Newsletter

Check out our Online Events Calendar to see a list of library events that you can access from home.

All CCLD libraries are currently open for "grab and go" visits, including the Bookmobile! Be sure to return all materials to the drop box (please, do not hand them to staff). Bookmobile will place a box for returns outside of the bus. Masks covering your nose and mouth are required to enter our libraries. Curbside service is still available by request. If you are visiting the Bookmobile and do not want to enter the bus, Mrs. Kim will hand your items out the door for you.

Now's the time to think - seeds!

Seeds

The Steele Library is currently open for patron browsing, and now is the perfect time to think about spring planting. Our Seed Lending Library is ready to browse any time we are open, so check it out! Seed Lending is easy; visit our seed collection, check out the seeds that interest you, and bring in any seeds you harvest in the fall! Come visit the Reference Desk on the second floor at the Steele Library for more information and, to sign out some seeds!
