Library hours at Steele Memorial Library and Horseheads Free Library will be changing in 2024. Steele will be open M-Th 9-8pm, Friday 9-5pm, Sa 1-5pm; Horseheads will be open M-W 9-8pm, Th 9-6pm, F 9-5pm, Sa 1-5pm. These hours will be the same, year-round.

Technology Training at CCLD Libraries
One-on-one basic computer/device instruction is available. Let us know what you'd like to learn! Contact Steele Memorial Library (607-733-9173) or Horseheads Free Library (607-739-4581) to schedule an appointment with one of our librarians.
CCLD Makerspace
Cork Reindeer Decorations
Construct your own mini reindeer! Kits will be available at the Tinker Lab in Steele Memorial Library.
Supplies are limited. One kit available per person. This program will be available as advertised, or until supplies run out.
Workshop: Soldering LED Lights for Crafts
Learn basic soldering techniques and solder LED lights together for use with crafts where small lights are needed. Soldering kits will be available for use, and LED lights and wire will be provided.

Stop by to wrap your holiday gifts on December 7th and 14th from 1pm-7pm on the 2nd floor in the activity area outside of the teen space. We will provide wrapping paper, tape, bows, and gift labels!

Santa is coming to the Horseheads Free Library! Santa will be here to read holiday stories at a special Saturday story time. We will also be hosting a New Year’s Party where we will countdown to noon, so you don’t have to stay up all night. This month’s take 'n make is a Holiday Penguin craft. The kits will be available all month long. Family Story Time is working its way through the alphabet. This month we will be reading stories covering the letters I and J.
